Awards season is officially upon us and it’s only 3 weeks until the 20th Anniversary of the MOBO Awards and I’m just a little bit excited about it!

As a huge fan of the MOBO’s, I was asked by ITV2 to interview artists Ella Eyre and Krept & Konan along with producer, Naughty Boy to reveal their favourite MOBO memories and to find out what the MOBO Awards mean to them.

Here’s what they had to say…

I had a wicked time chatting to Ella and the guys, before visiting the places that have inspired them musically. For Ella, we visited the local bus stop in Hanwell where she would catch the bus to the Brit School.

Krept and Konan treated me to a yummy Caribbean lunch at their favourite restaurant, Jam Rock before telling me how So Solid had influenced them massively coming up and how Zane from 1Direction once let them borrow his G4 plane!

Naughty Boy took me to Watford to visit the park where he used to hang out as a kid before treating me to an exclusive listen of his latest track ‘Runnin’ featuring Beyonce in his studio, where I also got to have a cuddle with Barry the cat!

The MOBO Awards will take place in Leeds on Wednesday 4th November and will be televised on ITV2 from 8pm. Miss it, miss out!
